We offer a wide range of LFU Laminar Flow Unit, which provides solutions to industrial needs. LFU laminar air flow units are ideal ventilation terminal elements for surgical operation rooms and similar environments. They provide terminal velocities of 0,20 m/s to 0,30 m/s and laminar flows in the projection of their rated dimensions.
Thanks to their most important characteristics – laminar flow and HEPA filters – they ensure significantly low particle and bacteria counts at the end of operation. Their positive ventilation also minimizes anesthetic gas rates. They complete the chain of clean room technology with hygienic air conditioning plants and VAV units. Operation rooms must be supplied with at least 2.400 m3/h of air and at least 50% of this volume must be clean.
Laminarizator is made of special textile products. The laminarizator is stretched over and fixed on the aluminum frame and fixed to the slots in plenum cells using latches. Laminarizators can be easily removed and reinstalled for HEPA filter changing or periodic maintenance and cleaning.
There is a 150×150 mm gap at the middle of the laminarizator which consists of two or four parts according to its size. This space is for operation table illumination equipment and after installation, this space is closed by a gasket collar with a @125 mm hole.
LFU laminar air flow units, HEPA filters and other accessories, laminarizator and its parts and the plenum box are supplied in unassembled form for easy installation and safe transportation. Installation and commissioning instructions are in the delivery boxes.
Laminar Flow Units require periodic maintenance after installation, lighting control, filter replacement and laminator replacement services. The unit should be checked at regular intervals to ensure long life, high performance continuity and to obtain the desired quality and flow rate from the ventilation system to which it is connected.
